Apr 5, 2022 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM - The Dangers of the Gladiator Mindset: Mental Health for Lawyers and Professional Athletes
ZOOM-Webinar
Toronto, Ontario M5G 1T3
Canada

The mental health struggles of lawyers and professional athletes are strikingly similar. Both groups rely on the “gladiator mindset” to a toxic degree, sacrificing their physical and mental wellbeing to succeed, often at any cost. In this session, our panel will explore the dangers of the gladiator mindset through the prism of shared experiences between elite athletes and advocates with a view to promoting a more open and compassionate dialogue around issues of mental health.
